After Malaica was contacting me via my instagram channel and meeting her personally in Munich City to discuss her visual project I had to swallow - quite often - leaving me with my jar wide open about what happened to her in the last 2 years.
Now her desire was and is to visually reflect on this by writing a book and establishing a website to reach out to all out there who can relate to her story.
So my challenge was to present her in different portrait settings in the wonderful greenish Greenlight Studios with and without her prosthesis, with some very private props and parade out her inner self which speaks for a strong, powerful, positive, ironic and warm-hearted young woman.
I’ve been really thankful that Malaica has been passing me her vote of confidence shooting with me.
