Job Preparation: CAR BRAND - “My Racedriver History”
At the moment I am preparing myself for a new photo job for a car manufacturer
that will take me back to my past as a professional racing driver with all that good memories attached🙏🏻
In the 90s I trained my instincts as a racing driver.
For more than five years I was professionally hitting the race tracks all over our planet.
1992 - 1993 I contested the Porsche Carrera Trophy, which I finished 9th overall being handed over the “Rookie of the Year” trophy from the PORSCHE AG.
Best single result: 3rd place at the city circuit of Singen.
Additionally I competed in the newly established Porsche Super Cup in the supporting program of the Formula 1.
Best single result: 5th place in Monaco behind legends like Hakkinnen, Röhrl, Heger, Alzen.
1993 I finished the 24h Race of Daytona in 3rd place in the GT3 class.
After a successful test drive for Jaguar I was welcomed on board and had the honor competing in the works team of TWR Tom Walkinshaw Racing alongside David Coulthard, David Brabham, Paul Belmondo to drive the Jaguar XJ220 at the 24h Le Mans. Our car #52 led our class until the early morning hours when we suddenly had to retire due to overheating problems.
In 1994 I started the 24h of Daytona on a Buick Kudzu world sports car from SCANDIA MOTORSPORTS at 6th place on the grid.
I also raced in the BPR Global GT Series with Callaway Corvette and LOTUS CHAMBERLAIN Racing and finished 2nd respectively 4th in the GT class at the races of Vallelunga/Italy and Suzuka/Japan.
In Richard Chamberlain's team, I finished 2nd overall in the British GT Championship as a LOTUS works driver.
I retired in 1995 after a self-inflicted accident in rainy conditions at the 24h Le Mans in the Porsche team of Enzo Calderari and Lilian Bryner in a Porsche RSR.

Momentan bereite ich mich auf einen neuen Foto-Job für eine deutsche Sportautomarke vor,
der mich in meine Vergangenheit als Profi-Rennfahrer mit all den guten Erinnerungen zurückversetzt.

1992 - 1993 bestritt ich die Porsche Carrera Trophäe, die ich mit dem 9. Gesamtrang und dem “Rookie of the Year”-Pokal der PORSCHE AG beendete. Bestes Ergebnis: 3. Platz auf dem Stadtkurs von Singen/Hohentwiel.
Zusätzlich startete ich 1993 im neu erschaffenen Porsche Super Cup im Rahmenprogramm der Formel 1. Bestes Ergebnis: 5. Platz in Monaco hinter Legenden wie Hakkinnen, Röhrl, Heger, Alzen.
1993 beendete ich das 24h Rennen von Daytona auf dem 3. Platz in der GT3 - Klasse.
Nach einem erfolgreichen Renntest für Jaguar, wurde ich ins Werksteam aufgenommen und hatte die Ehre bei TWR Tom Walkinshaw Racing neben David Coulthard, David Brabham, Paul Belmondo den Jaguar XJ220 bei den 24h Le Mans zu fahren. Unser Auto mit der #52 lag bis in die frühen Morgenstunden in der GT-Klasse in Führung als wir es leider mit Überhitzungsproblemen in der Garage abstellen mussten.
1994 startete ich die 24h von Daytona auf einem Buick Kudzu World Sports Car von SCANDIA MOTORSPORTS auf dem 6. Startplatz.
Zudem trat ich in der BPR Global GT Series mit Callaway Corvette sowie LOTUS CHAMBERLAIN Racing an und belegte bei den Rennen in Vallelunga sowie Suzuka den 2. bzw. 4. Platz in der GT3-Klasse.
Im Team von Richard Chamberlain gewann ich als LOTUS Werksfahrer den 2. Gesamtplatz in der Britischen GT-Meisterschaft.
1995 beendete ich meine Karriere nach einem selbst verschuldeten Renn-Unfall bei den 24h Le Mans im Porsche Team von Enzo Calderari und Lilian Bryner auf einem Porsche RSR.
